Recycle Computers, Electronics and Appliances for No Cost
Weston, WI (July 28, 2016) – Cellcom is partnering with RecycleThatStuff.com to help the Weston community safely dispose of their unwanted electronics, computers and appliances. A community recycling event will be held at the Weston Municipal Center (5500 Schofield Ave.) on Wednesday, August 3 from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Most household electronics and computer equipment can be dropped off without limitation. Because of space constraints only three of the following items will be allowed per household: CRT monitors, televisions, mini refrigerators, AC units, microwaves, stoves, washers, dryers and copy machines. Large refrigerators and freezers will not be accepted. Cellcom will pay all recycling fees for this community event, so all permitted items will be disposed of at no cost to the public.
Cellcom has helped local communities recycle more than 214,000 pounds of electronics at its free recycling events in the past two years and donated more than $46,000 to cover recycling fees.
RecycleThatStuff.com is an e-Cycle Wisconsin registered computer and electronics collector and recycler through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
